In Vienna, I always got lost and had no idea about what I was eating
I learn a little German, but it's not enough for me to understand the Menu
But I am fine with this
I like to try new things, I'm not picky
I ate everything they suggested for me
I enjoy the surprise everytime
I was Lucky
Everything in Vienna was great!
When I arrived Vienna
I tried to find something for lunch
The hotel staff suggested me a Australian restaurant
People always suggest me the things they enjoy
So, I like to accept the suggestions
When I walked in the resteraunt,
the 42-inch TV was playing the match of snow ski
Some old couples enjoyed the game with beers
他問我要"牛肉" "豬肉" "雞肉" "魚"還是"蔬菜"?
I read the German Menu and asked the waiter to translate it into English without any shame
He asked what do I want to eat?
Beef? Pork? Chicken, Fish or Vegetable?
I really wanted to ask: Can I have meat with vegetable?
Finally I realized... here is Europe...
Salad is the best way if you want some vegetable
Anyway, he suggested the "roast beef, potato and onion with mustard cheese sause"
It smelled very goooood!
The steak was as big as the dish, it was too much for me
I couldn't finish it
When I decided to pay the bill
I had to calculate the tips in mind
It looked like an exam of methology
When I paid the bill, his face told me that "I paid too much!"
I am not good in methology....
But he was a good waiter
He translated the Menu very friendly
He also asked me "Do you want to bring it home?"
I didn't want to waste food, so I brought it for dinner.
I just wondered why they use the same lunch box in both USA and Europe?
The lunch boxes in Taiwan and Japan are much much better!
When I wanted to finish the food in evening...
There was no knife, no fork....
That was a steak......
Finally I ate it with hand
